LET’S PITCH 2024

Registrations can be made online starting now and until October 30th. The ten selected projects will be announced in October on our social media platforms, and the winners will be revealed during the Ventana Sur awards ceremony on December 6th.

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS AND ELIGIBILITY:

• Projects applying to Let’s Pitch must submit a prototype or Proof of Concept. The format must be .EXE (Windows).
• Projects must accompany their submission with a Video Pitch or Trailer with a maximum duration of 5 minutes.
• Only projects in development will be accepted. Completed projects will not be considered.
• Projects submitted must be of Ibero-American production.

SELECTED PROJECTS:

• A maximum of ten projects will be selected for the pitching session.
• The project curation will be conducted by a team of video game specialists.
• The ten selected projects must designate one or two representatives (developer and/or producer) to deliver the pitch to the jury. Project representatives will receive accreditation for Maquinitas – Ventana Sur at no cost.
• The Video Pitches of the selected projects will be showcased on the Ventana Sur online platform and will be available to accredited attendees during the Market.
• The ten selected projects will automatically participate in business meetings during the event.

AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS
All selected projects will compete for the following awards:

1. Best Video Game Design
2. Best Narrative in a Video Game
3. Best Character Design
4. Best Use of Augmented/Virtual Reality
5. Best Gameplay
6. Best Technical Challenge

REVELATION AWARD
Additionally, from all the projects participating in the pitching session, one will be chosen to participate in the Maquinitas showroom at the Fantastic Pavilion in the next Cannes festival, in May 2025.

PITCHING SESSIONS:
The pitching sessions will take place during Ventana Sur (from December 2nd to 6th). Each project will have a maximum of 15 minutes for its presentation.
Projects will be presented in front of jury members and sponsoring companies.
