A privileged window into Latin American cinema - 2025 SELECTION

This Ventana Sur section brought together an exclusive selection of fiction feature films from the region that are currently in their final post-production stage, connecting them with those who can help launch them into the world: producers, sales agents, international representatives, festival programmers and partners who will award the projects with key post-production services.

The Curatorial Committee was made up of distinguished members of the industry:

Fundación EU-LAC

EU-LAC Cinema, Through the EU-LAC Cinema initiative, the European Union’s External Action Service (EEAS) awards an incentive to a project directed by a woman, an LGBTQ+ person, a young filmmaker, or a member of an ethnic community. Following the guidelines of the DALE! Award, it supports the distribution of a selected project within the framework of EU-LAC Cinema and the EU-CELAC 2023–2025 biregional Roadmap (€5,000.00).

DALE!

The DALE! Award has a value of 10,000 euros. It will be granted to the majority producer of the winning project, the sales agent, or the distributor.

Professional consultancy session for post-production in Dolby Vision.

Post-production services for a Brazilian film.

Stone Milk

Technical laboratory services, graphics, sound mixing, and master file generation (total value approx. USD 4,500).

SendFiles

5 deliveries through our Digital Delivery Service (high-speed file transfer over the internet). Prize validity: 2 years. For all Primer Corte and Copia Final films.

RECAM (Reunión especializada de Autoridades Cinematográficas y Audiovisuales del MERCOSUR)

Support of USD $ 500 for the post-production of the selected film belonging to a MERCOSUR country.

COPIA FINAL

Copia Final brought together films that are in the last stage of post-production, close to completing their technical and artistic process.

This section aims to boost the international circulation of works with strong narrative and visual quality, promoting their entry into festivals, markets, and platforms.

The selected titles highlight the consolidation of a generation of filmmakers who are redefining contemporary Latin American cinema.
